It's time to Rewrite the Script.

As the Loeries Youth Committee, we're here to help shape the future of advertising in Africa and the Middle East. You too, can be part of this journey. We believe that true diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) is the key to not only staying relevant, but also to pushing our industry further.

Research compiled by The Loeries on Gender Representation in Film Advertising showed that despite the progress we've made as an industry, gender stereotypes are still creeping into the work we create. One set of results highlighted that on average, men dominated 61% of Speaking Time and 57% of Screen Time, compared to their female counterparts.

To help change such disparities, we've created a simple DE&I checklist. A tool to help us craft more inclusive, honest, people-first creative work. It ensures that diverse voices are authentically represented from brief to execution. Responses will be captured by The Loeries and tallied up to inform an annual report by The Loeries on DE&I transformation within our industry. Your organisation will remain 100% anonymous and the form will just take 5 minutes to complete.
